'In response to the recent criminal prosecution of a person responsible for cybersecurity and the imposition of coercive measures on the company, we’ll examine what legal liability cybersecurity incidents can entail for employees and companies.

We will discuss:
• Criminal liability - what circumstances may give rise to it, to whom it may apply, and how to mitigate the risk
• Civil and administrative liability - liability mechanisms under other regulatory regimes that may be applied in parallel with or independently of criminal proceedings
