"Security in Action: Latvia’s NIS2 Legal Response, Regional Lessons, and Cyber Resilience in the Age of Escalating Threats" (ENG)
May 29th
10:20
As the European Union’s NIS2 Directive sets a new bar for cybersecurity across critical sectors, Latvia faces the task of aligning its national legal framework and enforcement strategies with these stricter requirements. This panel brings together legal experts, policymakers, cybersecurity practitioners, and vendors to explore Latvia’s current state of transposition, the compliance roadmap for local organizations, and lessons learned from neighboring Lithuania’s early adoption efforts. In the light of increasing cyber warfare, geopolitical tensions, and targeted threats to critical infrastructure, we will also discuss how to leverage national CERT capabilities and private vendor technologies to build a resilient, collaborative defense posture. Join us for a pragmatic dialogue on driving compliance, mitigating risks, and strengthening national cyber readiness.
