May 29th
09:35
Baiba Kaškina will provide an overview of the situation in Latvia’s cyberspace, analyzing the threat level and the most characteristic recent incidents involving commercially motivated attackers, hacktivists, and state-sponsored groups. The threat level in Latvia has been rated as high since 2022, and so far, there are no signs of it decreasing. However, despite the massive scale of the attacks, Latvia’s cyber resilience is considered to be very strong. The audience will be introduced to the national measures aimed at strengthening cyber resilience, such as the DNS Firewall, support for incident victims, public awareness initiatives, and more.
